Welcome to my homepage

I received my PhD in Computer Science from University of Pittsburgh in 2017. My advisor was Professor Diane J. Litman. My research interests include Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Data Mining.

At the University of Pittsburgh, as a member of SWoRD project, my research focused on building intelligent components for automatically evaluating student writings and student feedback. In particular, I had worked on automatically identifying localization and solution in peer reviews, predicting peer rating validity, identifying argument components and argumentative relations in student essays, and automated argumentative essay scoring.

In my undergraduate school at Hanoi University of Technology, I gained research experiences on parallel genetic algorithms and applications in scientific computing.
